SierraSil Co-Founder Peter Bentley Passes Away

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of SierraSil co-founder Peter Bentley on September 6th. He lived a full life of 91 years, loved business and sports. He made a positive difference in many lives through his work and his philanthropy in time and resources. He has been recognized with Variety’s Gold Heart Award, inductions into the Order of Canada and the Order of BC, the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Junior Achievement’s BC Business Laureates and more.

“His hope for SierraSil is that through our minerals, that enabled him to recover his ability to grip and enjoy golf into his late 80s, is to help thousands or perhaps millions of people also enjoy a better quality of life. Despite Peter’s passing, we are eager to fulfill his vision, and thank all of our suppliers and retail partners that are enabling that vision to grow,” said Nicholas McMonagle, Senior Manager Business Development.

Peter will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his passion for business, his love of athletics and his exceptional example of giving back to society.
